Jose Mourinho:Kaka is not a burden and still has chance in Real Madrid
Summer transfer rumors have been enclosing Kaka, though he eventually stays in the Bernabeu, the player’s future in the team is at sea.
As before, Kaka didn’t get any chance in the Sunday 3-0 game between Real Madrid and Granada FC. The outside world all reckon that Kaka has become Mourinho's supernumerary player, but it is denied by Mourinho, he stresses that Kaka still plays his own role in the team, he will give Kaka chances to prove himself in some moments of the season.
Kaka was supposed to leave Real Madrid for his former club Milan this summer, but the deal didn’t come out in the end due to the economic problems, Kaka had to stay at the Bernabeu.
"Neither Kaka nor anyone else is a dead weight," Mourinho stated at the club’s press conference.
"We went in another direction against Granada, Benzema, Callejon and Modric came on and we want to give some rest to those who played in the Super Cup.
"The three who were left out from the starting line-up were once our first choices, but we need more time to consider Kaka an option once more."
The 30-year-old Kaka hasn’t gained any chance in official games of Real Madrid’s new season yet so far. Although Mourinho stressed that Kaka still has the chance to prove himself at Real Madrid, the midfielder almost has no future in the club.
