Lionel Messi scored twice in the last 14 minutes lifting Barcelona 2-1 over Osasuna, while the defending champion Real Madrid was defeated by Getafe.

0-2 lost to Deportivo La Coruna in the opener, Osasuna’s performance in this match was impressive, Joseba Llorente’s header in the 17th minute helped their team taking the lead. Until the 76th minute, Messi pegged net from close range and evened the points. Few minute later Osasuna’s condition became worse for Francisco Puñal off the game.
