Manchester United sign Alexander Buttner from Vitesse Arnhem, after the medical examination Büttner will complete his move to Manchester United officially. They reach a five-year deal, but the detail of transfer fee has not been disclosed.

The 23-year-old Butterner was previously selected to the Netherlands squad for Euro 2012, he said that "Joining Manchester United is one of the best days of my life. Büttner once played more than 100 games for Vitesse Arnhem, he has become Man Utd's second recent recruited Holland defender following Robin van Persie from Arsenal. Manchester United ranked in second in the league standings last season, they will participate in the UEFA Champions League group stage match in the new season.
