France (w) broke dreams in Semi-final.

French media: Japan (w) didn't play an attractive match.

2012 London Women Olympic Football Tournament Semi-final began on August 6, and France (w) faced the challenge of Japan (w). NAGASATO Yuki opened the score in the first half, and in the second half Mizuho Sakaguchi helped Japan increasing their lead. 75 minutes later, Sommer pulled one back for France. In the 77 minutes France missed a chance to even scores while spot kick. At last, France (w) were edged out of the final by World Champions Japan.

Facing defeat of France (w), French media have been given a high attention to. And French coach Bruno Bini expressed after the game, I do not know how to play this semi-final, if we can enter the semi-final in Euro Cup next year, I hope someone can replace me…

The player who missed the penalty kick in the 77th minute said, It was fate, that's it, I haven't failed to lose any penalty during my career. But when been asked what her teammates said to her, she said, They told me it didn't matter, that was not my fault.
