Salvio "Back Home": Transfer Permanently to Benfica

Salvio said he was very pleased and grateful after transferring to Benfica and signing a five-year deal with Benfica from Atletico Madrid. He once played for the team on loan and performed quite well in 2010/11 season.

Salvio has moved to SL Benfica, while his transferring fee is still unrevealed.

Salvio's five-year contract with SL Benfica has ended his two and a half year time at Atletico Madrid. He once played for the team on loan in 2010/11 season, and he appeared 19 times totally in Portuguese Liga on behalf of SL Benfica.

"I'm very pleased and grateful for Benfica's effort on my transferring," said the Argentinian international. "I am eager to return here and I will do my best to thanks for your trust."

Salvio scored four goals in his 44 La Liga matches for Atletico Madrid, and he also featured for the games twice in which Benfica won the European Champions League in 2010 and 2012
