The only regret of us is too tired. The opponent we confronted were a World Champions, and the game was over after one man left for injury. We had some chances in the beginning of second half, but we didn't catch these chances. And we totally gave up resistance since Thiago Motta's leave. We could not take care of the defense well while we were attempting to attack.

I think Italy had a great performance in UEFA Euro this term, while our only regret is no sufficient time to rest. We had ever met Spain in group games, we did very excellent at that time for the great conditions the players had. Facing such a team, you must spare no pains but we failed. Spain have to be praised for making history, it was all they deserved. Without a traditional forward, Spain still gained many chances created by the players.

I'd give us an eight out of ten for this tournament. We had gone through fierce competitions in the group games and we played some good games; the serious problem this time was our physical strength. Italy showed their good team work spirit and they played attacking football which could reduce foul, lose with dignity and react to hard situations.

Suffering a setback will be invariably disappointing. But the longer the Italy played, the more satisfied I felt to my team. When we leave Kyiv and see this stadium lights in the high attitude, I will be extremely sad with proud.
